After two years leading Hawke’s Bay Netball Denise Aiolupotea has resigned from her role as General Manager. Hawke’s Bay Netball Chairperson, Tina Haslett said the Board are very sad to see her go.  Denise has been part of the growth of Netball in Hawke’s Bay for ten years and has helped increase participation and create multiple netball opportunities in the region for all ages and abilities. Denise was netball development officer for six and half years before taking up a role at Netball Hutt Valley in 2020.  Having gained valuable experience in that role, she returned to Hawke’s Bay and was appointed Operations Manager of Hawke’s Bay Netball for a short time before stepping into the role of General Manager in June 2022.  Through her time with Hawke’s Bay Netball she has seen many faces, be it on or off the court, and is well known for being one of the most convivial and approachable personalities in the game.  Hawke’s Bay Netball thanks and appreciates Denise for all the work and input she has given, and we wish her the very best in her new ventures.
